DESTINATIONS WAITING FOR U THIS WINTER......

 AULI:-

Auli (9,500-10,500 ft above sea level ) is a renowned destination for skiing and sightseeing in Uttarakhand, India. It is a little difficulty to get to this ski village which requires an overnight camp to reach from Delhi (500 km) the nearest major airport but the effort is worth it when there is a lot of snow.
           Auli has excellent snowy slopes and is equipped with the best skiing facilities which makes it a favorite of ski lovers from across the world. You can also come here if you want to learn skiing. There are Skiing courses and professional instructors available for beginners. Steep snowcapped mountains, frequent snowfalls, hot springs, and ancient temples make Auli a fabulous trip for Trekkers and nature lovers who don't intend to ski.
GULMARG:- 

Gulmarg popularly known as "Meadow of Flowers" is the most frequented winter destination of India. The gorgeous hill resort is easily accessible from Srinagar (56 kms from Srinagar) where regular bus services and tourist taxis are available to reach Gulmarg. The buses go till Tangmarg which is 11 kms from Gulmarg and the remaining distance can be covered by smaller vehicles and tourist taxis.
              There are numerous hotels of different standards available for accommodation and stay in Gulmarg, some being luxury, others being budget hotels. There are also JKTDC's winterized, fully furnished huts and cottages, which offer a great value for money to tourists.
Popular places to visit in Gulmarg are Khilanmarg which is the spot for skiing and offers stunning views of the Kashmir valley and the Himalayan range, Alpather Lake a picturesque frozen alpine lake, and shrine of Baba Reshi, a Muslim mystic saint where you can get a close view of snow covered hills and feel the joy of pleasant weather, Ferozpore Nallah, and Gulmarg Biosphere Reserves.

SHIMLA:-

Nestled between the lofty snow-capped Himalayan peaks; draped in forests of pine, rhododendron, and oak; and surrounded by lush green pastures and lakes, Shimla offers an unforgettable travel experience. 
Main tourist spots in Shimla are Himachal State Museum & Library, Viceregal Lodge & Botanical Gardens, The Ridge, The Mall, Chadwick Falls, Elysium Hill, Annandale, The Mall, Dorje Drag Monastery, and Prospect Hill. Religious places to visit are Christ Church & St. Michael's Cathedral, Jakhoo Temple, Sankat Mochan, Kali Bari, and Tara Devi.

GOA:-

Fort Aguada was built in 1612 on the Mandovi River. The beaches of North Goa extend from Fort Aguada in an uninterrupted 30 km stretch upto the border with Maharashtra. There are many natural springs and a lighthouse at the fort. Sinquerim beach near the fort has facilities for para-sail and jet skiing.

                Busy Market at Mapusa has a collection of modern buildings, strings of spicy Goan sausages (chorizo), toddy (fermented palm sap), spices and exotic fruits. Bondala Wildlife Sanctuary located 50 km south-east of Panaji has a good botanical garden, a fenced Deer Park and a zoo.

SEALINK :-
The Bandra Worli sealink, officially know as ‘Rajiv Gandhi sealink’ was inaugurated on 30th June 2009. It is a cable stayed bridge which links Bandra and Worli and is the first phase of the proposed West island freeway system. The proposed project is to connect Nariman Point to Versova with exists in between. The sea link reduces travel time from 45 minutes to a mere 7 minutes.

THE GATEWAY OF INDIA:-
 The Gateway of India is a monument in Mumbai , India. It is located on the waterfront in Apollo Bunder area in South Mumbai. The Gateway of India was built to commemorate the visit of King George V and Queen Mary to Bombay in December 1911. It was used as a landing place for British governors and other distinguished personages. In earlier times, the Gateway was the monument that visitors arriving by boat would have first seen in the city of Bombay.





 VICTORIA TERMINUS:-

cst-station1 Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus, formerly Victoria Terminus, and better known by its abbreviation CST or Bombay VT, is a historic railway station in Mumbai which serves as the headquarters of the Central Railways. It is one of the busiest railway stations in India, and serves Central Railway trains terminating in Mumbai as well as the Mumbai Suburban Railway.
CST is built in a style that combines Gothic and Indian influences .

THE JAIN TEMPLE:-
The Jain temple is also known as Babu Amichand Panalal Adishwarji Jain Temple. This is one of the most popular, beautiful and noteworthy amongst all the jain temples in Mumbai. It was built for the svetamber jains, constructed in 1903. It has two major idols, one of Rishabhadev to whom this temple is dedicated to , and the other of Parasnath Bhagwan.
The downstairs area houses an array of deities and saints, including an image of Ganesh that recalls historical links between Jainism and Hinduism. Three black idols are protected behind a metal screen.
 THE HAJI ALI DARGAH:-
The Haji Ali is situated almost 500 yards out at the Arabian sea at haji ali. It is connected with the Hindu Mahalaxmi Temple via a small causeway, usually only accessible during low tide. A handsome example of Indian Islamic architecture, associated with legends about doomed lovers, the dargah contains the tomb of Haji Ali.
Legend has it that Haji Ali died on his way to Mecca and his body, in its casket, floated back to Mumbai; However, some believe that Haji Ali drowned where the dargah stands today. The durgah was built in 1431.
THE SEWRI FORT:-
The Sewri Fort (also spelled Sewree Fort) is a fort in Mumbai atop a quarried hill built by the British at Sewri. Built in 1680, fort served as a watch tower or check post against the Portuguese who held the land across Mithi River (called Salsette Island). The fort was built primarily for defence, and embellishments are absent. It is bordered by high stone walls, including an inner ring for added protection. It is landlocked on three sides, and sits atop of sheer cliff of about 60 m (197 ft). The entrance is a stone doorway that leads into a courtyard. To prevent a frontal assault from the main entrance, the inner entrances were placed perpendicular to the main entrances.
Architectural highlights include pentagonal room along with a long domed corridor, and linear vaulted structures.
Global Pagoda, Gorai :-
Marve and Manori beaches are among the most picturesque beaches that Mumbai boasts of. These beaches are located at the distance of approximately 19kms from Mumbai.
